We most often recommend the sauna first, then the massage. The heat relaxes the muscles and warms the skin, so the therapist’s hands work more easily and the treatment feels deeper with less pressure. The reverse order only makes sense if you want some more quiet time without touch after the massage.
Take a short break between the sauna and the massage: to let your body cool down, drink some water and let your pulse settle. Don’t go into the sauna right after a heavy meal, and come out earlier if you feel dizzy or weak.
At Fizio Spa, a sauna session lasts 60 minutes and costs 900 RSD, or 600 RSD when added to any treatment. If you’d like a ready-made spa day, the Detox package combines a body scrub, sauna and aromatherapy massage in 120 minutes for 5.600 RSD.
The sauna isn’t for everyone. If you have heart or blood pressure problems, are pregnant or have an infection, ask your doctor first. In those situations, a massage without the sauna is the gentler option.
The quickest way is online booking via Fresha, where you book both sessions back to back, and the confirmation arrives by email straight away. If you have a question about the order or duration, write to us via the contact page.
The sauna and massage are in the same place, at Trg Slobode 3 in Zrenjanin, in hotel Vojvodina on level -1. We’re open from 8:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 8:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays; we’re closed on Sundays.
When you want deeper relaxation than a treatment alone can give. The sauna’s heat softens the muscles, so the massage afterwards feels stronger with less pressure. It’s a good choice to round off a tense week or for a planned spa day.
With heart or blood pressure problems, during pregnancy and during an infection or fever, the sauna is not something to experiment with — ask your doctor first. In those situations, a massage without the sauna is the gentler option.
Say whether you’re used to the sauna, how you tolerate heat and whether you have a condition that calls for caution. Also mention what you want from the massage: relaxation or work on a specific area of tension.
