Heavy legs, constantly tense muscles and poorer sleep after hard training sessions are a sign that your body needs planned recovery. Sports massage, pressotherapy and sauna can help here. If the fatigue comes with pain that does not go away, a physiotherapist’s assessment comes first.
Fizio Spa is run by Marko Ćurčić, former physiotherapist of the Serbian national wrestling team, who was also at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games with Davor Štefanek. The team knows the difference between ordinary fatigue and overload that leads to injury.
According to the price list, sports massage lasts 45, 60 or 90 minutes and costs 3.300, 4.000 or 5.400 dinars. Pressotherapy for the legs is 1.100 dinars for 30 or 1.500 for 45 minutes, and the sauna is 900 dinars. With a massage, pressotherapy or sauna can be added for 600 dinars each.
What to choose depends on the phase of the season. After heavy exertion, many choose a lighter massage and pressotherapy, and leave deeper muscle work for days without training. Tell the therapist when your next training session or match is, and the treatment is adapted accordingly.
You can choose a time in a couple of minutes through online booking via Fresha. If you are not sure what you need, write to us via the contact page and tell us which sport you train in and when your next big effort is.
The centre is at Trg Slobode 3, in hotel Vojvodina on level -1, in the centre of Zrenjanin, so a session fits easily around training. We are open every weekday from 8 to 20 and on Saturdays from 8 to 17. Phone: +381 63 466414.
When, after training or a match, your muscles stay tense, your legs feel heavy and your body is slow to get back into rhythm. For many athletes, regular recovery reduces the feeling of fatigue. Pain that persists or gets worse is not for massage, but for an assessment.
When you suspect an injury: sudden pain during training, swelling, joint instability or pain that is getting worse. Then an assessment by a physiotherapist or doctor comes first, and recovery is planned according to the findings.
Tell us which sport you train in, how often, when your last hard effort was and when the next one is. Mention the most loaded parts of your body and any previous injuries. The treatment is then adapted to your schedule.
